ABOUT JAVA
ABOUT JAVA
In previous post we studied about...Now we study some of JAVA Programms...Generally now a days JAVA is a most useful programming language......Java is the foundation for virtually every type of networked application and is the global standard for developing and delivering embedded and mobile applications, games, Web-based content, and enterprise software. With more than 9 million developers worldwide, Java enables you to efficiently develop, deploy and use exciting applications and services.
Java is a general purpose, high-level programming language developed by Sun Micro systems. The small team of engineers, known as Green Team, initiated the language in 1991. Java was originally called OAK, and was designed for handheld devices and set-top boxes. Oak was unsuccessful so in 1995 Sun changed the name to Java and modified the language to take advantage of the burgeoning World Wide Web. In 2009, Oracle Corporation acquired Sun Microsystems and took ownership of two key Sun software assets: Java and Solaris
Learn About Java Technology
Java is the foundation for virtually every type of networked application and is the global standard for developing and delivering embedded and mobile applications, games, Web-based content, and enterprise software. With more than 9 million developers worldwide, Java enables you to efficiently develop, deploy and use exciting applications and services.
From laptops to data centers, game consoles to scientific supercomputers, cell phones to the Internet, Java is everywhere!
An Object-Oriented Language
Java is an object-oriented language similar to C++, but simplified to eliminate language features that cause common programming errors. Java source code files (files with a .java extension) are compiled into a format called byte code (files with a .class extension), which can then be executed by a Java interpreter. Compiled Java code can run on most computers because Java interpreters and run-time environments, known as Java Virtual Machines (VMs), exist for most operating systems, including UNIX, the Macintosh OS, and Windows. Byte code can also be converted directly into machine language instructions by a just-in-time compiler (JIT). In 2007, most Java technologies were released under the GNU General Public License.
Java on the Web
Java is a general purpose programming language with a number of features that make the language well suited for use on the World Wide Web. Small Java applications are called Java applets and can be downloaded from aWeb server and run on your computer by a Java-compatible Web browser.
NOW LET WE SEE ABOUT SOME OF JAVA PROGRAMS.....
Prime Number:-
Source Code:-
import java.util.*; class PrimeNumbers { public static void main(String args[]) { int n, status = 1, num = 3; Scanner in = new Scanner(System.in); System.out.println("Enter the number of prime numbers you want"); n = in.nextInt(); if (n >= 1) { System.out.println("First "+n+" prime numbers are :-"); System.out.println(2); } for ( int count = 2 ; count <=n ; ) { for ( int j = 2 ; j <= Math.sqrt(num) ; j++ ) { if ( num%j == 0 ) { status = 0; break; } } if ( status != 0 ) { System.out.println(num); count++; } status = 1; num++; } } }
OUTPUT:-
FACTORIAL NUMBER:-
Source Code:-
import java.util.Scanner; class Factorial { public static void main(String args[]) { int n, c, fact = 1; System.out.println("Enter an integer to calculate it's factorial"); Scanner in = new Scanner(System.in); n = in.nextInt(); if ( n < 0 ) System.out.println("Number should be non-negative."); else { for ( c = 1 ; c <= n ; c++ ) fact = fact*c; System.out.println("Factorial of "+n+" is = "+fact); } } }

GENERATIONS OF COMPUTERS
GENERATIONS OF COMPUTERS
In previous post we have seen about C Programming..here let us study about GENERATIONS OF COMPUTERS...
Generation in computer terminology is a change in technology a computer is/was being used. Initially, the generation term was used to distinguish between varying hardware technologies. But nowadays, generation includes both hardware and software, which together make up an entire computer system.
There are totally five computer generations known till date. Each generation has been discussed in detail along with their time period and characteristics. Here approximate dates against each generations have been mentioned which are normally accepted.
Following are the main five generations of computers
- First Generation
- Second Generation
- Third Generation
- Fourth Generation
- Fifth Generation

let us see some c
In our previous blog...we have shared a list of short cuts...now here...we would like to share a few programms using c languages...these will be basics programms..just to help beginners and new college students...in future we may also share some technical topics we have learnt...
- Prime number:- c program for prime number, this code prints prime numbers using c programming language. To check whether a number is prime or not see another code below. Prime number logic: a number is prime if it is divisible only by one and itself. Remember two is the only even and also the smallest prime number. First few prime numbers are 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17....etc. Prime numbers have many applications in computer science and mathematics. A number greater than one can be factorized into prime numbers.
source code:-
#include<stdio.h> int main() { int n, i = 3, count, c; printf("Enter the number of prime numbers required\n"); scanf("%d",&n); if ( n >= 1 ) { printf("First %d prime numbers are :\n",n); printf("2\n"); } for ( count = 2 ; count <= n ; ) { for ( c = 2 ; c <= i - 1 ; c++ ) { if ( i%c == 0 ) break; } if ( c == i ) { printf("%d\n",i); count++; } i++; } return 0;
}
OUTPUT:-
- Factorial number:-c code to find and print factorial of a number, three methods are given, first one uses for loop, second uses a functionto find factorial and third using recursion. Factorial is represented using '!', so five factorial will be written as (5!), n factorial as (n!). Also
n! = n*(n-1)*(n-2)*(n-3)...3.2.1 and zero factorial is defined as one i.e. 0! = 1.
source code:-
#include <stdio.h> int main() { int c, n, fact = 1; printf("Enter a number to calculate it's factorial\n"); scanf("%d", &n); for (c = 1; c <= n; c++) fact = fact * c; printf("Factorial of %d = %d\n", n, fact); return 0; }
OUTPUT:-
Now that...we have stated this would be an entertainment blog in out fb page...y not try some tasks using C...
- print stars in pyramid shape:- These program prints various different patterns of numbers and stars. These codes illustrate how to create various patterns using c programming. Most of these c programs involve usage of nested loops and space. A pattern of numbers, star or characters is a way of arranging these in some logical manner or they may form a sequence. Some of these patterns are triangles which have special importance in mathematics. Some patterns are symmetrical while other are not. Please see the complete page and look at comments for many different patterns.
source code:-
#include <stdio.h>
int main() { int row, c, n, temp; printf("Enter the number of rows in pyramid of stars you wish to see "); scanf("%d",&n); temp = n; for ( row = 1 ; row <= n ; row++ ) { for ( c = 1 ; c < temp ; c++ ) printf(" "); temp--; for ( c = 1 ; c <= 2*row - 1 ; c++ ) printf("*"); printf("\n"); } return 0; }

why do we need anime or cartoons
THINGS TO LEARN FROM ANIME
lets us first explain why we have selected this topic.....
we all grew up watching one or other cartoon series...be it a fight between a cat and mouse, or a super strong guy from other planet...kids love these things..even adults enjoy Anime.
Anime improves imagination- TRUE
Anime teaches good things to kids-TRUE.
we have always seen one or other cartoon character teach us about friendship and honesty
Anime may teach us Language...(seriously...we have learnt Hindi and English after watching cartoons)
so the first cartoon all of us were shown might have been tom and jerry or looney toons....they had their own fun..but the lesson..was of friendship....
lets talk about our favourite anime heroes ...trust us ..even bad guys from our anime teach us good things.....
our first anime hero was GOKUH from Dragon balls series.
1. EAT ,WORKOUT, SLEEP
2. PRACTICE ALWAYS HELPS
3. FRIENDS ARE IMPORTANT
4. LIFE IS PRECIOUS
5.ALWAYS LAUGH
then we saw two different series which had little monsters which...
even though they were made to fight...these two series taught us to love pets...and in turn they would love us...remember these
cartoons.....yes..our own pokemon and digimon....little to big creatures...who were kind and strong...
they even teach us loyalty towards someone taking care of us
then as we grew up...we saw really deep and serious anime series...which had deep thoughts about good an evil are..
and they make us ask what we are..(well,,they did it to us)
so what did we learn from this post
Anime and cartoons teach the -
- 4-5 yrs old- colors and imagination
- 5-10 or 11 yrs old- creativity and value of friends
- 11-16 yrs old- practice and hardwork and inspiration
- 16 and above-what is good and evil. how to be a good person
.
(these are only few of anime....so fans dont be discouraged.
for those who are new to watch anime and are trying to watch new one....our viewers can suggest few names of series...)
so thats all for this post...adiós amigos...and anime lovers
Information...or Introduction?? :)
Hello ...
perhaps we should be formal for a while...till we all be familiar with each other.
so..as we were wondering...should this be an information about the blog...or introduction of the bloggers....lets say..even we are confused....
simply put,, a blog started by a duo...A DOUBLE TROUBLE for the people who really know us.
now to tell you about the blog...
viewlocker .. in this ...we shall put our views and your thoughts in a locker..our own virtual locker (we really thought that would sound technical ..did it?)
we share our views on a mix of things...and take your suggestions for newer posts...
we shall try to keep up with this super sonic jet speed world and updating newer posts...with of course encouragement of our viewers .....
